Sport, moon, sea - what do these terms have in common? OMEGA.
The history of the Swiss watch manufacturer goes back to a century-old tradition. Since 1848, OMEGA has been developing its timepieces with precision and attention to detail and not only proves themselves as a private piece of jewelry, but also accompanies sporting competitions, travels to the moon and back to earth and dives into the deep seas.
OMEGA made the first exciting journey with the Speedmaster model in 1960. With the most characteristic chronographs in the world, the watch known as the "Moonwatch" flies to the moon - stylishly and elegantly. While some OMEGA watches are still floating on the moon today, others on earth are primarily sporty. High-performing and target-oriented, OMEGA has proven itself as a timekeeper accurate to the second at the Olympic Games - and has been since 1932. Since then, OMEGA has accompanied various competitions from the starting line to the scoreboard and helped decide on defeat or victory. The quality and precision of OMEGA watches makes it to the ocean. OMEGA's Seamaster diver's watches are 100% waterproof and can withstand enough pressure that they have been used to explore deep water for years. As a sign of this and inspired by the ornamentation of Venetian gondolas, the seahorse medallion is engraved as a water symbol on many OMEGA watch casebacks.
OMEGA's history is unique and so are its watches: unmistakably beautiful and outstanding in terms of stability, design and technology.
